Nicki went back to Naomi House & Jacksplace to present Connor Philips with a cheque for the “KFA Office Party” we held recently.
It was also a good chance for Nicki to take another look at the pathways which we had weeded, they were looking really good!
Holding a cake sale (yes, another one) in the office we raised £99.00 and since this ‘office party’ came just days after some of the team had spent a day at the hospice gardening we were all keen to raise more funds for them.
An enthusiastic team of us recently spent a day at the hospice for children and young adults, volunteering for gardening duty. Just like the day we spent there in 2017, it was another really hot day, but we got stuck in with weeding the paths and stripping Ivy from the trees within the grounds!
It must be a huge task to keep the gardens and grounds looking at their best all year round – and as the team at the hospice are all volunteers, we think it’s important to help where we can.
The charity has numerous ways you can support them. Take a closer look
The store was also recently published in the Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry News too… take a look at the article below.
