French Connection
French Connection run a SAP ERP, featuring extensive integrations to forecasting, manufacturing, accounting, and critically for this project, inventory and financial integration with Oracle Retail-J POS.
It was decided that in order to maintain compatibility with the SAP ERP and existing integrations that the integration from Shopify POS should appear to the existing software stack exactly as the Retail-J integration did.
As part of the design process it was requested that provision of sales data in a format suitable for integrating with Microsoft Power BI be added to the brief.
The result was a huge success.

The project was to design and develop a new distribution override system.
The requirements included providing a system infrastructure for distribution savings of £1million per annum and ways to reduce distribution costs across all channels.
The new solution needed to integrate with existing order management and warehouse systems and provide a reporting suite to measure cost savings achieved.

Unicol
The project was to develop a new Magento 2 eCommerce website with data integration to the Unicol existing system.
The requirements included building an easy-to-use website to allow customers to purchase simple, configurable or bespoke products. The solution included the creation of an Application Programme Interface between the eCommerce web solution and the UNICOL database system.
The new solution provides a one-stop shop for UNICOL customers to access all UNICOL products and product information.

French Connection
The project was to integrate four new Shopify Plus eCommerce websites (French Connection UK, French Connection US & French Connection EU and Great Plains) with Options, French Connection’s existing customer service & warehouse fulfilment solution.
The integration pushed and pulled order & stock feeds as well as returns information.
The project was a success and the relevant integrations for all four websites were delivered to a challenging timescale in time for Black Friday.
Future plans KFA Connect will be assisting French Connection with include EDI Feeds, replacing an existing event-driven process automation and job tool scheduling, assisting with the implementation of delivery management software, Shopify POS implementation and integrating their IBM i.

Bike It International
The project was to develop a new Magento 2 eCommerce website with data integration to the Bike It existing SAP Business One ERP system.
The requirements included building an easy to use website to allow their trade customers to search for and purchase motorbike parts using a VRN lookup and also accessories.
The new solution included the implementation and build of the Akeneo PIM system.

Norwood Aquarium
The project was to replace Norwood Aquarium’s IBM i with a new IBM i (v7.4) – essentially a modern version of the same product, as they had always found it to be reliable and their staff were familiar with it.
KFA also implemented a new DR (Disaster Recovery) solution for Norwood, including program & database backups which are held in the KFA Connect datacentre and also, maintaining and backing up that server.
The outcome was a huge success, with minimal disruption to the day-to-day running of the business.

The project requirements were to develop a new eCommerce solution with ERP integration.

Mitutoyo engaged the services of KFA Connect to develop and integrate a new eCommerce site into their existing ERP system.
One of the requirements was to allow individual customers to access live stock figures and account specific pricing 24/7 and also included the facility to allow order, customer and stock information to flow seamlessly between the new Magento eCommerce site and existing ERP solution.
